Mainline Services is seeking experienced End Dump CDL Class A Drivers to grow our expanding team. This experienced driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction aggregate, soil/dirt, and other materials to/from job sites.
Essential Functions
• Safely operate Heavy Dump Truck on public highways, roads, job sites, and in the yard to transport materials to/from job sites as directed.
• Properly secure load prior to transporting materials.
• Complete pre/post-trip equipment inspections, and maintain daily hours of service timesheets/E-Logs.
• Maintain a good driving record, obey laws, and follow dispatch instructions.
• Performs preventative maintenance such as general equipment cleaning, checking fluid levels, lubrication, maintaining tires pressures, and changing implements or attachments.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years Heavy Dump Truck driving experience required.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Knowledge and familiarity of Federal and State DOT laws, Federal Bridge laws, and oversize/overweight laws.
• Possess good driving record with adherence to safety regulations as well as state and federal laws.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions and near mechanical moving parts. Possible exposure to distracting/uncomfortable noise levels and vibration. Possible exposure to fumes or airborne particles that may affect respiration and skin.
Physical Demands
Sitting, standing, walking, driving, climbing/ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., talking, hearing, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
